YOSHIHIKO FUEKI – WADAIKO Artist,Percussionist,Radio DJ
From young age, he’s been playing traditional Japanese musical instruments like Wadaiko(Japanese drum). In 2001, he took a part in the launch of Ducunto produced by Tokai Taiko Center,Aichi JAPAN, and this was his first step as a professional Wadaiko player. From 2011, he started Aramaho, a band project composed by Japanese musical instruments, and started a tour from 2014. He’s drawn a lot media attention with collaboration with traditional work like Arimatsu-Shibori.
Yoshihiko is ever taken part in so many bands as a Wadaiko player or a Percussionist. And collaborated with so many popular artists like PRINCESS TENKO, Hiroshi Itsuki, Soun Takeda.
In Sep. 2019, he produced and played in Wadaiko section of a musical event held at Aichi Sky Expo. In 2022, from March 11 to April 3, his music was taken part in a projection mapping showed in Kariya City.
Yoshihiko’s also played in U.S.A., Canada, Germany, Korea, India, Cambodia, and so on. In 2015, in Italy, he played as Nagoya’s national artist.
In 2001, he joined Sonic Agitation to go on a tour. And also joined Vimoksha, a heavy metal band, to play in Wacken Open Air 2016 in Germany.
Not only a player, he also energetically holds some workshops to let more people know about Wadaiko.
From 2016, he was named as a resident artist of Kariya City.
Yoshihiko’s music style can’t be put in just one word, because he successfully mixed up Wadaiko with different modern percussion.

ARAMAHO
Aramaho is a Japanese music project team produced by Yoshihiko Fueki.
Aramaho means hopeful or ideal. They keep showing the attractive Japanese musical instruments all over the world while developing new ideas based on study of the past. In 2014, he got started a tour named Tradition and Creation.
He’s been trying to show the beautiful attractive music world with plot on stage.
